Test must be completed within 4 hours of draw.

 

Container:  Lavender-top (EDTA) tube(s) - Hemolyzed, clotted, specimen diluted with intravenous fluid, or tube that is not filled with minimum volume is not acceptable.

Specimen:  Full tube(s)

Transport Temperature:  Refrigerate

Collection Instructions:  Test cannot be done on blood specimen ≥4 hours old.
